My friend(s) and I are planning to attend the event together. How do I purchase tickets so that our seats are sitting together?
Seat numbers are reserved in order of purchase. If you need to sit with your friend or friends, one person needs to purchase the tickets together. The individual person will need to go online to the ticket site to purchase tickets. Once on the ticket site, select the total number of tickets needed for your party and complete the purchase. Make sure to enter your email information so the tickets may be emailed to you The total number of tickets you selected will be emailed to the individual that purchased the group tickets. Remember, tickets are non-refundable. If a person in your party is unable to attend, their ticket is not refundable.
(Example 1: A group of 5 plan to attend a Wine on the Rails event and want to sit together. One person will collect the money from friends either before or after purchasing the tickets. The individual person will then go to the ticket site to purchase the tickets. Select 4 in the drop down menu. Finish the purchase. Immediately go to a new order, select 1 for your fifth person in your party and finish the purchase. All 5 tickets will be emailed to the individual that purchased the tickets.)
(Example 2: Two friends plan to attend a Wine on the Rails event and want to sit together. One person between the two friends will collect the money from the other friend either before or after purchasing the tickets. The individual person will then go to the ticket site to purchase the tickets. Select 2 in the drop down menu. Finish the purchase. Both tickets will be emailed to the individual that purchased the tickets.)
I tried to purchase more than four tickets and the ticket site will not allow me to select more than four. What do I do?
Because the passenger seats are group in twos or fours, the ticket site only allows an up to four ticket purchase. But this doesn’t mean you cannot sit near your group if you have more than four.
If you need to purchase more than four tickets, purchase four then immediately purchase the next amount you need for your group. *Also, see example 1 from the question above for the step-by-steps on how to complete this.
I took a train ride to the winery but it did not include the additional fun items I see on this website.
That’s because you did not take a trip with Wine on the Rails! Wine on the Rails is a third party promotional company that charters the train the Tennessee Central Railway Museum operates to bring a unique experience to wine tasting and train travel. We bring our own spin to these train rides. Our events extend past the wine tastings. We provide the entertainment for all guests and additional goodies for dome seat and first class passengers. Wine on the Rails exclusively provides train attendants for first class and dome seats as well. The entertainment, goodies, train attendants, and additional items are not provided by the Tennessee Central Railway Museum and therefore not included with the events listed on their website. Want to experience a Wine on the Rails event? Click on our Event Schedule page to see when we’ll be chartering the train!
I’m attending a Wine on the Rails’ event but I’m from out of town/state. Do you have any recommendations for lodging?

You may transfer your ticket to another person but you may not transfer your ticket to another event (e.g. you purchase a ticket for a July event and are unable to attend. This matter is between you and the interested party; Wine on the Rails is not involved.
